Srdjan Jevđević used to have the band "Gino Banana" in Sarajevo, whose song "Mače moje čupavo" was a hit in the eighties. In 1986, Srdjan released an album of the same name for Sarajevo's "Discoton". After the success of this album, Srdjan became Gino Banana overnight. The band "Gino Banana" performed in the cult Sarajevo clubs "BB" or "Sloga", and they also played on Jahorina for several seasons. Three years later, he released the album "America". During the war in Sarajevo, he directed the musical "Hair".
